hey, guyss.. im gonna blog again noww.. since i have the time!! hmm my mood's kinda wierd right noww.. dunno why also.. today went to school at abt 1 pm.. hmm!! was late!! mornin lesson cancelled last min cos teacher sickk!!

lesson ended at abt 4.. and very strangely, my clsmates all went off straight after e lesson.. u see, normally they would hang around before gng our separate ways.. ahhh, but well.. i slacked in school for abt an hour with a few of my frens b4 meeting up with chowtee for dinner..

i kinda feel that in my heart, i have to grow a deeper relationship with God.. an eveyday quiet time is not enuff.. sometimes i would feel dry, not really feeling His presence and worshipping God.. my daily prayer would be the same everytime...

i feel that i must do something different.. maybe during my quiet time, write a letter to God about my daily life and "send" it to heaven.. haha, this "revelation" i got it from chowtee.. :) hmm tonight i shall do just that!! Not just that but praying as welll, worshipping and spending time alone with God.. He's just all that i need..

actually things in my family is not gng v v well, my dad's business gng chaotic and my parents are feeling the stresss.. im gng thru quite a bit right noww.. but i know that at the end of the day, everything's just gonna be alright!! things will change for the better!! Definitelyyyy!!! :::))) YEAH!!

im feeling kinda like v messy in my heart right now, lots of things gng thru my mind.. i really desire God's presence right noww.. worship Him, to be totally drenched in His presence.. Cry, weep, laugh!! :)

i feel that i have a lot of things to tell God now, so i'll write the letter to heaven and let our Heavenly Manager read it!! :) He will definitely make a way for mee!! YEAHHH YEAHHH!!!
The devil lose and we win!! No weapon formed against me shall prosper!! yeah i like tt verse! haahha! kinda builds up my faithh!! :)

alright, that's just wad im gonna blog abt tonight! yeah yeah! feel like shouting His praises now.. erm but neighbours will say im mad :D

anyway, signing out!! ciaoz!!

hmmm, alright.. it's really been quite long since i really blogged.. or acually blogged at all.. so im just gonna do this at one mighty shot!! whahaaah! oh well.. i'm actually just wondering why my tagboard is pertruding out of the area.. so funny rightt.. dun really know how to rectify the prob.. so i'll just not bother at all and leave it as it is.. STYLE MAH!! whahah..-_-"

well.. it has been quite a stagnant CNY this year for me!! visiting, boring dinners and lunches and getting angpaos.. well, that's actually the best part out of this CNY.. oh yah, and rest too, i can take offs from cg and school..whoa!! i big big good rest i tell u!!

hmmm, CNY eve until the 2nd day of new yr was really kinda "all-time-boring-CNY!!".. i really mean it, gng to relative's hse for meals and them coming over.. steamboats steamboats and MORE steamboats!! mann!! are they lazy to cook or smth!!? but well, 5 to 6 free meals a day seems interesting!! and nice ones in fact.. so i cant really complain! HAHA! gotta lose some weight mann!! :D

alrightt.. that was just the intro! hahaa.. today's the 2nd day of CNY!! did some visiting.. visited 2 houses today with my family.. hmmm, my angpao money wasnt really a lot though.. compared to the past few years, cos my parents wanted a quite new yr this yr.. but at night, i went to ct's hse, reached abt 5 plus... played a few games of daidee and got to know a few of her clsmates inc zhining, wilson and joshua! they were cool ppl!! really glad i got to know them..

sorfian and serene and joshua come later abt 8 plus or so.. haha, sorf and joshua took a really long time to find the place!! OKAY, serene reached ct's place and we were playing uno at tt time..i mean she claims tt our style of uno is different from hers..HAHA! so funnyyy.. she didnt know the rules and we really laughed over it!! it was really a great day!! :D

i din had fun with my frens for quite some already.. alright, after we played card games and had dinner at her place, we watched tv and some recorded shows.. played summore daidee and simply just hung ard her place.. not literally though.. bet u guys did have fun too right?! lol..

later at night, we decided to watch the ten ten movie at TM, but after reaching TM, then we realised there wasnt enuf tix cos we only decided to watch the movie only last min! oh mann oh mann.. so after cabbing to TM, with 2 cabs, we decided to BUM ard at TM BK.. we chatted anf ate, and this was my 5th or 6th meal of the day mann!! really gotta lose some weight!! HAHA!!

oh well, after tt, we set those ppl tt are staying at the west off first.. they all shared a cab back.. after which, we went to CHANGI RISE for a nice cool relaxation!! haha.. aka ser's place also! it's really v v v v v v v comfy there i tell ya!! u'd wanna sleep there overnight!! hha, but i do feel more comfortable typing at home here though! :D

well, after some nice ghosts stories and jokes, we went home with a cab.. the cabby really looked like a malay in chinese disguise!! haha, really!! oh well.. it was a great and wonderful day though.. had lots of fun tgt..

i wld be looking forward to another outing like tt..ahahh.. really glad tt i got to know many nice ppl like them.. hahaa, and we kept laughing and laughing like no one's business.. i really feel that these kinda outings are really fun and staying out late is definitely cool... but my mom waited for me to be home, then she wld sleep..

frens are definitely v v v fun to be with but do rmb that your parents will definitely not slp well if ur not home yet.. your family shud be the most impt in your life.. so always rmbb.. dun take them for granted until u really lose them.. if ur a christian and your parents are not, dun always think that there's time for them to get saved.. u wld always think that your parents will always be there and u can jolly well take ur time.. nah, not true.. seize every chance u get to ask them to church and let God do the rest.. your family's salvation will be the greatest joy in your life!! TRUST ME!!

well, im just gonna blog this much today, hope u guys enjoyed my post.. hahaa.. it was really a great day!! thanks for all the fun guys!! :D stay cool!! signing out!! :p

Out on a Limb: The Highs and Lows of Zacchaeus
David Jeremiah

Here's a short story about a short man-short on friends, joy, and fulfillment. It's also about another person, One who towers over time and history. Each man had a rendezvous with the other, and they both had a life-altering appointment with a tree.

The short man, Zacchaeus of Jericho, was a scoundrel who climbed a tree and, in so doing, found eternal life. The other man, Jesus of Nazareth, was a Savior who was nailed to the tree of Calvary and, in so doing, saved Zacchaeus from sin, death, and hell.

Zacchaeus wasn't about to miss the excitement of a spontaneous parade as Jesus came to Jericho. So he scrambled up a tree to see the procession. Suddenly Jesus stopped right under him, looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."

That moment changed his life. Have you had such a moment? Jesus knows your name, too. He knows where you are and He cares for you. He wants to come into your life and invade your home. His "standard operating procedure" is to seek us out.

His Lows

He was the chief revenue officer for that district, and any Jew who worked for the Romans in extracting taxes from his fellow Hebrews was disdained. He was also dishonest, defrauding the people and pocketing the profits himself.

But perhaps Zacchaeus felt cheated, too. We get the idea from Luke 19 that he was fed up with the way his life was going.

A. W. Tozer said: "The average person in the world today, without faith and without God and without hope, is engaged in a desperate personal search throughout his lifetime."

His Highs

When Jesus came by, He called Zacchaeus down. Luke says Zacchaeus hurried down and threw a dinner bash for Jesus. The very worst people of Jericho came-just the ones Jesus wanted to reach. During the party, Zacchaeus made a speech: "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold" (Luke 19:8).

"Today salvation has come to this house . . ." Jesus said, "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" (verses 9-10).

Zacchaeus realized he had a lot of be thankful for. His desperation turned to exaltation, and his sullied life became a testimony of grace. From a low point, he had risen high, on the wings of grace.

Consider these high points: Despite his wealth, Zacchaeus felt a hungry yearning for Jesus. Zacchaeus sensed there was something about this charismatic Galilean that could fill the God-shaped void in his heart.

Notice his haste and happiness in finding Jesus. Luke 19:6 says, "So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully." For Zacchaeus, a very dark room was finally flooded with light. It's like that when we find Jesus. Light and joy come into our lives.

Notice Zacchaeus' hospitality and home. The Lord went home with him, saying, "Today salvation has come to this house." When we joyfully receive Christ as Savior, it touches our family and affects our home.

Then there was Zacchaeus' new-found honesty. To everyone's surprise, he agreed to make restitution to those he had cheated and give half his money to the poor. When Jesus comes into our lives, it changes our ethics.

Finally, notice his hope. From that day, Zacchaeus was a changed man with a new future and an eternal promise. According to Christian tradition, he later entered the ministry and used his considerable skills as Bishop of Caesarea.

Have you met Christ? Is your life a testimony to your salvation? Are you willing to see the spiritual worth of those whom others disdain and despise? Are you willing to make restitution to those you've defrauded? Are you willing to use your home and influence to bring others to Christ?

Sometimes there's no better place to be than out on a limb.

That's often where Jesus finds us.

This article was excerpted from Turning Points, Dr. David Jeremiah's devotional magazine.

Shipwreck Groaner

A guy gets shipwrecked. When he wakes up, he's on a beach. The sand is dark red.
He can't believe it. The sky is dark red.

He walks around a bit and sees there is dark red grass, dark red birds and dark red fruit on the dark red trees. He's shocked when he finds that his skin is starting to turn dark red too.

"Oh no!!" he says . . . . .

"I've been marooned!!"

Top Ten Things You'll Never Hear A Dad Say

10. Well, how 'bout that?... I'm lost! Looks like we'll have to stop and ask for directions.

Guys, I thought this e-mail is really very relevant to our everyday spiritual life, so I’m gonna post it here.. Read on! Enjoy! =)

God, when I received this e-mail, I thought,"I don't have time for this. This is really inappropriate during work."Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is exactly what has causedlot. We try to keep God in church on, Sunday morning? Maybe, Sunday night. And, the unlikely event of a midweek service. We do like to have Him around during sickness. And, of course, at funerals. However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play. Because that's the part of our lives that we think we can, and should, handle on our own. May God forgive me forever thinking that there is a time or place where HE is not to be FIRST in my life? We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father."Not ashamed? So how about passing this on later?Yes, I do Love God. HE is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. [Phil 4:13] Christian -- Without Christ, I Am Nothing. Do You love Him?

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord, I came,
I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

Now do you have the time to pass it on?

Easy vs. Hard

Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie?

Why are we so sleepy in church but just when the sermon is over wesuddenly wake up?

Why is it so hard to talk about God but yet so easy to talk about nastystuff?

Why is it so boring to look at a Christian magazine, but yet so easy tolook at a nasty one?

Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e-mail but yet we forward all ofthe nasty ones?

Why are the churches getting smaller but yet the bars and dance clubs are getting larger?

Do you give up?

Think about it.

Are you going to forward this, or delete it?

Just remember - GOD is watching you.

Prayer Wheel - Let's see the devil stop this one!

Here's what the wheel is all about. When you receive this, say a prayer for the person that sent it to you.
That's all you have to do - Are you Up to It?
Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one.
There are no costs, but wonderful rewards!

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak."I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this birdcage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, son?" ”Just some old birds," came the reply. ”What are you gonna do with them?" I asked."Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered.” I’m going to ease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time.""But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will youdo?""Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for thosebirds, son?""Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plainold-field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!""How much?" the pastor asked again.*The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten-dollar bill. Heplaced it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley, where there was a tree and a grassy spot. Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.Well, that explained the empty birdcage on the pulpit, and then thepastor began to tell this story. One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!""What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how tomarry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!""And what will you do when you get done with them?” Jesus asked."Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly. "How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked."Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't any good. Why, you'll takethem and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!""How much?" He asked again.Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and yourlife."Jesus said, "DONE!"Then He paid the price. The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.

Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Isn’t it funny how someone can say, "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).

Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?

Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.

Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, God will bless him or her in a way special for him or her. And send it back to the person who sent it, to let them know that indeed it was sent out to many more.
Let's do more for the Man who died for us.
